I have taken a few classes and it really does give you a great workout and gets rid of stress. The place I took a lesson from closed a few months ago. It was really nice and serene. Now, I want to go to the Y for classes but I don't like having set times I have to go since my schedule is so hectic! Another thing that helps stress is massages. I learned more about real life and important issues from traveling overseas as a child than I have from books. Books tell you words, show you pictures, travel puts it all together in a current context. You don't just read about comparisons, you feel differences and similarities. You learn that people are people whatever they believe or how they look, they live, love, work and play the same as the next person. Very rarely will I even take an organized tour unless I don't have much time. I like to be completely free when I travel. Eating when I want, deciding when I wake up what I want to do and basically just taking it one moment at a time. I don't even use travel agencies. I just book my flight and hotels online.
