Safety tips for Halloween

Published by youthfoutain under self help Edit This

Catalina Island was a very beautiful island that I’ve visited. I went there many times and love the boat ride out there. You can go out there and have a great time. The boat ride is fantastic and it only cost about $50 dollars. You can choose the boat ride or an airplane ride. It’s up to you. The trip to Catalina Island is very low cost over all. I would recommend it to people at all time. I went there many times and loved it.

This is a great place for lovers. The boat ride alone would be fantastic. You can go and sit on the deck and watch the waves past behind you. The boat ride is about an hour to Catalina Island. The boat ride is the one thing that I loved about this trip. I went with my friends and we had a great time. Once you get off of the boat you would get on an Island. You can start to tour the place by eating and shopping and renting gears and boats to play around.

The restaurants are good but expensive. The shops are expensive. The gears to rent is also very expensive and the boats to rent is also very expensive. It would cost you about $20 an hour to rent swimming gears or scuba diving. Therefore , it’s to your advantage that you go there with your own gears. You can bring tons of dry foods and drinks if you want. They don’t really search on the ride at all. You can expect to take lovely pictures out there. The Island is beautiful with clear blue water and rocks in the shapes of a heart. You will be mesmerized by its beauty. You don’t have to spend a whole lot of money either. You can just go there and enjoy the lovely views. You can camp out too and don’t even have to rent a hotel. People don’t really sleep there once they’re there. It’s party all the time. You will love Catalina Island.

should there be a driving age limit?

Published by youthfoutain under self help Edit This

Yes! I think there should be a maximun age for driving because the senior citizens are putting themselves at risk and other people at risk for their slow driving habits. I know this will all depends on the seniors but I have had many experiences when the seniors driving in front of me is making me break too hard where I can’t even make it and almost hit them. I run into this problem personally many times and I know that some senior are not that good on the road or on the freeway. Only some seniors, I do know some that are pretty good with their driving too. Every senior is different therefore I feel that the strong driver should remain driving while the weak and slow ones should find other way to transport themselves. They’re putting themselves at risk and the other drivers by being slow, and don’t go with the flow. They’re afraid and they have bad eyes site and that could be very dangerous. I can’t say that we should take all of the senior’s driving privilege away because if they’re able to take care of themselves then there is one less problem for them and their family. I however is object to seniors that don’t drive fast enough or is too slow and make you brake when they turn out of a parking lot. I braked so many times and I almost hit them. I almost got into a car accident. That is now it’s supposed to be like on the road. People are supposed to move along with everyone else but I guess this is not the case with the seniors. They just drive at their own comfort zone doing a 20 in a 50mph zone. Yes! They are very slow when they merge onto the street from a shopping center. They are so slow and then they also brake when they merge that forces us to brake and maybe even slam them. This is very dangerous practice. They should learn how to blend in with the crowd if they’re going to drive on the road at 80 years of age. I’ve drive next to a senior many times and most of the time they are as slow as a turtle. This will agitate people a lot. There should be a retest when they hit 65 years of age to see if they have medical condition like poor eyes sight and then go from there. I’m concern for their safety and for the safety of other drivers. If they want to drive slow then they should just drive on the neighborhood street or to the supermarket but don’t drive on a fast lane like the freeway or the highway. These streets are not suitable for them. I know from personal experience that my mom could not drive at all because she’s older. She is very slow , doing a 20 at a 60 mph zone. She would endanger herself and other fast driver. They may rear end her often.

Why disable people need to assert themselves

Published by youthfoutain under self help Edit This

Choices, control and self-advocacy are not just important but they are the rights of every person living in America and that in no way would discriminate the disabled. Under the constitution of the United States, the Bill of Rights stated that every person, not every person that is not disabled will have the rights to the pursuit of happiness including the right to freedom of speech, press, own property and religion. The right to bear arm is limited to people without a felony in their criminal record. As the Bill of Rights is the proof that disabled individual are entitle to their personal choices, control and self-advocacy. Whether they can or not they are still entitle to their rights and no one can suppress them of those rights. They are encourage to be as independent as possible and dependent on their own free will.

Disable individuals vary in all degrees of their disability. We have to clearly define their disability before we can move on any further. Some people are physically disabled but can be the world’s genius like Professor Hopkin. He’s in a wheelchair but the world is learning from him every single bit. We can then rule out that physical disability will not affects the ability to have choices, control and self-advocacy because they are mentally competent. We won’t have to worry about this group because they will be able to live just like any one else. We should encourage them to be in full mode to defend themselves and live a normal life like anyone else even though they may be limited to a wheelchair or a cane. It’s still vital for them to be able to live normally and healthily.
